Trump Gives Cover to Israel to Prevent Congresspersons from visiting Israel
Today, Israel withdrew their permission for US Representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib from visiting Israel. While their visits to Israel, Al Aqsa Mosque and the occupied Palestinian territories had initially been approved, the extremist party of Netanyahu tried to find a way to deny Ilahn Omar and Tlaib entry, Well, they found it in Trump.
Trump in his usual bellicose and prevaricating manner accused both of hating Jews and Israel. Of course, both are untrue. Knowing that Trump had their back, the extremist Israeli government has formally denied these two Congresspeople entry into Israel and the Occupied Palestinian territories.
The Pro Israelis must think that the visit would bring highlight the occupation and the horror waged upon the Palestinians on a daily basis. Bad media is worse than no media.
It is a sad day for Israel and a slap in the face of the US Congress
