Researchers at the University of Nottingham looked at the effects of coffee on brown fat cells in the laboratory and in healthy volunteers. Brown adipose tissue (BAT), or “brown fat”, is one of the two types of fat found in humans. Its main function is to generate body heat by burning calories from sugar and
